Warzone is a fast-paced, multiplayer online FPS that relies heavily on team work and strategic thinking. It is important to have a good field of view to be able to see the map in its entirety and have an advantage over your opponents. Here’s how you can change your field of view for Warzone.
How to change your FOV in Warzone
Since Warzone is a FPS, it’s important to be able to see more of the map than your opponents.
Warzone features two field of view options: 90 degrees and 110 degrees. The 90 degree option will result in an optimal first person shooter experience with less peripheral vision of the map. This is great for players who want to focus on their targets without being distracted by what is happening around them. The 110 degree option provides more of a simulation experience with wider peripheral vision, but less gun-play accuracy.
To change your FOV setting, do the following:
1.) Click “Settings” in the top right corner of the game window
2) Click “Interface”
3) Under “Field of View”, choose either “90 Degree” or “110 Degree”
Why the FOV is important for Warzone
FOV stands for “field of view.” Understanding what your FOV is and how to modify it can help you play Warzone more efficiently.
The field of view is the total area you can see on your screen at any given time. You can adjust this by changing the FOV in settings.
Warzone relies heavily on team work, so it’s important to see where your teammates are at all times. A low field of view will often obscure teammates, making it difficult to find them in time for a good defense or offense.
A player with a high field of view has an advantage over opponents because they will be able to see more at one time than players with low FOVs. Players with high FOVs are less likely to run into walls because they can see much farther ahead than those with low fields of view.
You’ll also want to make sure that you don’t have too high an FOV; if you do, you’ll be constantly running into obstacles like trees or rocks since the game doesn’t render objects outside the screen’s boundaries.
How to use the console to change your FOV
Warzone is a fast-paced, multiplayer online FPS that relies heavily on team work and strategic thinking. It is important to have a good field of view (FOV) to be able to see the map in its entirety and have an advantage over your opponents.
If you’re experiencing any issues with your FOV or would like to change it, we recommend using the console to do so. Here’s how:
First, press ` (the tilde key) and type: fov=[#]
Where [#] is the degree of your desired field of view (default should be 75). Alternatively, you can enter fov=90 for 90 degrees.
After entering this command, press ` again and type: closeconsole
This will now apply your new FOV for Warzone.
Ever notice how it can be hard to see anything in Warzone?
Thankfully, the game gives players the ability to adjust the field of view (FOV) to their liking, but it’s not always obvious how to do that.
Fortunately, there are a few ways for you to change the FOV in Warzone. We’re going to cover two of them today. The first is by using the console to enter a specific FOV code. The second is by using the in-game settings menu.
